Frequently Asked Questions

We know that starting a program is not an easy commitment. Especially something that is still new here in Brazil. That's why we've gathered here the main questions people usually have before deciding to start the program. If you don't find the answer you're looking for here, feel free to contact us at our email contato@vigilantesdosono.com or on whatsapp.

What is Vigilantes do Sono?

Vigilantes do Sono is a program for improving sleep and mental health. Our program incorporates technology and consultations with doctors and psychologists. We do this through 4 pillars:

  • Monitoring: We can monitor sleep and mental health through the use of wearables, sleep tracker (we track sleep through the mobile device itself) and self-reporting. Through the data collected, we can provide data, graphs and insights.
  • Digital program for improving sleep and mental health: we have self-care lines where users are guided by our artificial intelligence, Sônia, on how to improve health.
  • Teleconsultations: with psychologists and doctors.

Is the treatment effective?

Vigilantes do Sono uses the main evidence-based therapies for improving sleep and mental health. We are currently the company with the most scientific validation in sleep and mental health improvement, with scientific articles accepted at the largest conferences in our field, including:

  • Brazilian Sleep Congress 2020, 2021 and 2022;
  • American Sleep Congress 2021;
  • São Paulo Neurology Congress 2021;
  • World Sleep Congress (Rome) 2022.

Does this program always work?

Unfortunately, the answer is no. Nothing has a 100% success rate, but the evidence shows that we can improve the health of more than 90% of people who engage in our programs.

Who is Vigilantes do Sono recommended for? And who isn't it for?

Vigilantes do Sono is suitable for people over 18 years old who are interested in improving their sleep and mental health. If you have a serious mental health condition, we recommend that you do the program accompanied by one of our health professionals.

Can I continue taking medication during treatment?

Yes, Vigilantes do Sono is also effective for those undergoing medication treatment. We recommend that you keep your medication stable during treatment as long as your doctor agrees. When we abruptly stop taking medication, we may experience unwanted withdrawal. If you are interested in stopping your medication, the best way to do this is to gradually reduce your use of medication accompanied by a specialist doctor.

What is anxiety?

Anxiety can be characterized by intense, excessive and persistent worry and fear of everyday situations. Elevated heart rate, rapid breathing, sweating and feeling of tiredness may occur.

What is insomnia?

Insomnia is a sleep disorder characterized by some of the following difficulties:

  • Difficulty falling asleep;
  • Waking up frequently during the night;
  • Waking up earlier than desired and not being able to go back to sleep;
  • Feeling tired upon waking.

What is depression?
